Blenko IceFloe Glass Bookends

Whimsical pair of clay-molded clear, textured glass bookends designed by Don Shepherd; produced by D.A.S. Designs. I don't know who these characters are but we refer to them as "Dickens" people. Shepherd created a series of molds for the IceFloe line in the 70's and left the molds with Blenko when he departed in 1977. He went on to design furniture for Herman Miller. Bookends weigh 9lbs total and measure about 9.5" tall and 2.5" thick.
